Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs Large Shrimp (16/20 count), peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Avocado oil
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp Cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 3 tbsp Unsalted butter, cubed and cold
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 0.5 Fresh lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp bone-dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with avocado oil, kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat, aiming for a surface temperature of 400°F (204°C).
- Spread the shrimp out in a single layer on the griddle surface, ensuring they are not touching. Sear undisturbed for 2 minutes until the bottoms are pink and have developed a slight golden crust.
- Flip the shrimp using a metal spatula. Move them into a tight pile and add the cold cubed butter and minced garlic directly onto the shrimp.
- Toss the shrimp continuously in the melting butter and garlic for 60-90 seconds until the garlic is fragrant and the shrimp are fully opaque.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with chopped parsley before serving immediately.
